– Armenia exported 9.6 million liters alcohol beverages amounting to
$132 million last year, State Revenue Committee at the Government
reports. It occupies the second position in the export yielding only to
products of copper concentrate. The export increased by over 30% as
compared to last year (it was 7.6 million liters for $96.8 million in
2010).

Dollar nears AMD 389 in Armenia |

US dollar’s average exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was
AMD 388.96/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Tuesday.
To note, the stock exchange saw no foreign currency trading on Monday
and on February 10, and the dollar gained value by 0.06 percent, or by
0.25 points, as compared with February 9. The trading session had
started at AMD 389/$1.
